BSM 01 Business Management
Business Management focuses on the different management functions of business organizations in the business environment. It describes how managers should manage resources and activities in such a way that organizations can operate their business in a profitable manner.
BSM 02 Marketing and Sales Management
In Marketing and Sales Management learners’ will develop a knowledge of marketing and sales skills in the business industry. Learners will also learn about marketing mix components and the environmental factors which influence consumer and organizational decision-making processes.
BSM 03 Financial Management in Business
Financial Management in Business introduces participants to the concepts of financial accounting and accounting skills required for preparation and analysis of financial statements. Learners will also learn about the operation of a business in terms of the elements of costs.
BSM 04 Effective Business Communication
This module focuses on the effective communication in business. It includes a review of business letters, formal and informal reports, and oral presentation. Learners will also learn about different communication methods and barriers of communication.
BSM 05 Staff Etiquette and Professional Image
In Staff Etiquette and Professional Image participants will learn about building relationships, helping others out when possible, wearing appropriate clothing, using professional language, being polite, and using social media properly as well as personal hygiene and how to maintain good personal grooming at the workplace.
BSM 06 Time Management
Time Management will teach participants the skills needed to enhance their performance and achieve the desired goals with less effort and more effective strategies. It will uncover the realities of failing to manage time or poor time management skills at work can resulting in: Missed deadlines and appointments. Procrastination and lack of focus and productivity.
